Enhanced Sense
In a few instances Aisha was known to complain
about loud noises (for example, when entering the Galactic Leyline and
Aisha even saying she felt like her head was about to explode) and in
the tweltfh episode the Ctarl-Ctarl's sight was said to be the best of
all alien races. Whether they have the night vision our own felines
have is unknown.
SocietyWhile we have more information on this than the
Ctarl-Ctarl's history, much of this is speculative. Take it with a
pinch of salt.
Region of Influence
The Ctarl-Ctarl Empire spans an ovoid region of space that's
about 230 light years at its widest and 100 light years at its
shortest. This can be seen in some art books which may be added to this
article at a later date. As shown, humanity's region is spherical and
240 light years in diameter. These are huge distances. It would take
three days at the fastest ether and sub-ether speeds to travel just
twenty light years. Most ships are civilian and it would take
considerably more time for those to travel. Putting it into perspective
it would take over a month for the Outlaw Star to pass through
humanity's sphere of influence from start to finish. How is this
important?
There is a region of space between humanity and the
Ctarl-Ctarl's regions. Though speculative it wouldn't be a stretch to
assume that the two regions expanded and subsequently conflict broke
out between the two races over ownership. When the treaties were signed
they agreed to treat the middle region as a DMZ. As a side-note, the
Ctarl-Ctarl's home planet is simply called Ctarl-Ctarl.
Government
The Ctarl-Ctarl government is imperial and headed by an emperor.
However, it's often regulated by governors. Aisha tried to talk to a
governor but didn't realise she was merely talking to a Comm Cube. It's
possible the Ctarl-Ctarl Emperor is visible in the below picture's
painting (and Aisha's family in the foreground), but this is
speculation.
