Aisha Really Chowing Down
Clearly, Aisha loves a lot of food from different cuisines across the galaxy. While she also really eats at the crew's budget it isn't that she wants to cause harm by that. Ctarl-Ctarl actually have to eat great quantities of food for their survival. As shown above she ate just a meagre amount of food at Blue Heaven. This was an apology of sorts (what for though, really?) from Gene, but she actually had an ulterior motive. Her potential beast state is determined by the amount she eats. This isn't a temporary thing either. The Ctarl-Ctarl are able to conserve extra calories and use them later on.

Metamorphosis

Once Ctarl-Ctarl reach their final beast state they're able to transform which requires huge energy consumption. This is their ultimate form. As Suzuka noted in the sixteenth episode when Aisha transforms the first time, communication would be pointless since they lose control of themselves. It's like a stage of pure rage and they're unable to listen to reason.

Aisha's First Metamorphosis Transformation
It's unknown if a Ctarl-Ctarl is able to voluntarily change back while in this state, but some parts of the show suggest they can't. After Aisha defeated Lady Iraga she was still seen in her final beast state. Since this final form consumes a huge amount of energy it seems it will just "run out" eventually. This is further backed up by her fight against Jukai at the Galactic Leyline. Aisha was almost completely wiped out and only just defeated Jukai, immediately collapsing and shortly after returning to her regular form.

Aisha's Second Metamorphosis Transformation
The crew made the mistake of associating Lady Iraga with the Ctarl-Ctarl. Aisha corrected them and explained that the Ctarl-Ctarl aren't the same race and Iraga was a "low-class werewolf". Unfortunately, we don't know for certain whether Iraga's werewolf state was the result of Tao magic, but going by what Aisha said (and the fact she recognised Iraga from her past) it seems there is a separate werewolf race, meaning Iraga was not a Terran. Having said that, there were Tao magic-powered gorillas in the novel El Dorado Covered with Clouds.
